Winner takes all: This former world class skier traded her two planks for one in 1994, and she’s already starred in 17 cult-style snowboarding films, including the IMAX classic Extreme.

No fear: “Breaking bones is the least of your worries in the back country,” says Victoria. “It’s avalanches that scare me. I got caught in one above a 1,000-foot chute with car-size rocks in the middle and house-size rocks at the bottom. I had to do two backflips and then cling on some rocks to avoid falling in.”

Snow bunny: I’ve been jumping off roofs and out of trees since I was a little kid, but that doesn’t mean I’m not feminine. I love being a woman.”
