Cincinnati Bengals, sixth year Playing the field: Considering the Bengals nearly flawless record this millennium (8–24), the Ben-Gals are usually the best show in town. “People probably do watch us more than most cheerleaders,” says 26-year-old Jessica. “But hopefully we’ll get a little less attention this year.” Fan-tasy: Jessica, who is also a full-time graphic designer, knows how to entertain the crowd. “Last year I got hit by a football and the crowd went crazy,” she laughs. “So I took a big bow and they loved it.” Jungle music: The minute Guns n’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle” starts playing, it’s show time. “We’re great dancers,” she insists. “So we do a lot more than just shake our pompoms.” Mmm…pompoms.
