Little did I know when I woke up this morning that I was about to embark on what was one of the best days of my life. Our first shoot location was in The Russian Standard Vodka distillery. The state-of-the-art building is an impressive piece of art on its own, and is home base for all the vodka produced by Russian Standard.
The setting: A gorgeous, stainless steel, pristine and perfect environment to brew your favorite vodka. It was a grey day with a chill that we hadn’t felt since we arrived in Russia. The smoke stacks around the plant released a fog outside as we readied ourselves for another photo shoot inside. This time, our flawless Russian model was Alina Ivanova, and the rest of the crew was in surgical smocks! Yup, we all had to work in full smocks (blue jackets down to the floor and hair nets). We almost lost it (VIDEO TO COME). The energy was unbeatable—or so I thought. Our second photo shoot of the day proved otherwise. Check back next week to see our afternoon shoot on the Canal Griboedova! Until then, enjoy Alina!
